Gruul Aggro is a deck that combines red and green colors to play powerful and aggressive creatures that can overwhelm your opponents quickly. This deck is perfect for those who like to smash face and win fast.

Some of the bigger threats, we have some amazing top-end cards that can win us the game on their own. We have Tyrant of Kher Ridges, a 6/6 dragon with flying and firebreathing, meaning we can pay red mana to give it +1/+0 until end of turn. This makes it a huge threat in the air that can deal massive damage. We have Etali, Primal Conqueror, a 6/6 dinosaur with haste that lets us play the top card of each player’s library for free whenever it attacks. This can lead to some crazy swings in our favor, especially if we hit some powerful spells from our opponent’s deck. And we have Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance, a new legendary land from Dominaria United that can transform into a 7/7 dragon with flying and haste by paying 5 mana and sacrificing another land. This is a great way to surprise our opponent with a huge threat out of nowhere.

For our sideboard, we have some cards that can help us against different matchups. We have Lithomantic Barrage, which deals damage to target creature equal to the number of lands we control and also destroys an artifact or enchantment if we control four or more lands. This is great against decks that rely on artifacts or enchantments like Mono-White Aggro or Temur Adventures. We have Brotherhood’s End, which deals 3 damage to each creature without flying and each planeswalker. This is great against decks that go wide with small creatures like Mono-Green Aggro or Gruul Werewolves. We have Tear Asunder, which lets us choose one: destroy target artifact; or destroy target enchantment; or exile target artifact or enchantment card from a graveyard. This is useful against decks that use graveyard synergies like Izzet Turns or Dimir Control. We have Skitterbeam Battalion, which is a 4/4 creature with menace and riot that also deals 1 damage to each creature without flying whenever it attacks or blocks. This is good against decks that play a lot of small creatures like Boros Aggro or Mono-Black Control. We have Tranquil Frillback, which is a 3/4 dinosaur with hexproof from blue and reach. This is good against decks that play blue spells like counterspells or bounce spells like Izzet Dragons or Mono-Blue Tempo.

So this is the deck I’m going to play today: Gruul Aggro! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below and don’t forget to like and subscribe for more MTG Arena content.

Now let’s get into some games and see how this deck performs!
