La estrategia de este mazo Jeskai Control es controlar el juego mediante la interacción y el contrarresto de los hechizos del oponente, mientras se acumulan cartas en la mano para luego aprovecharlas con cartas como Fires of Victory o Memory Deluge, y así ganar ventaja en el juego.
La carta más importante del mazo es Mindsplice Apparatus, ya que permite reducir el coste de los hechizos instantáneos y de conjuro en función de los contadores de aceite que se acumulan en ella en cada mantenimiento.
El resto del mazo se compone de una variedad de hechizos de control, incluyendo cartas como Devious Cover-Up, Syncopate y March of Otherworldly Light para contrarrestar o exiliar las amenazas del oponente, mientras que Union of the Third Path y Inspired Idea proporcionan la capacidad de acumular cartas y generar ventaja en el juego.
