La estrategia de este mazo de Jund Midrange es ser un mazo de control agresivo que utiliza cartas disruptivas para mantener el control del tablero mientras se presiona al oponente.
El mazo tiene varias cartas que permiten la eliminación de criaturas, como Go for the Throat, Annihilating Glare, y Voltage Surge, que también puede hacer daño al planeswalker. Además, cuenta con la carta Fable of the Mirror-Breaker // Reflection of Kiki-Jiki, que crea tokens de goblins y tesoros que pueden ser utilizados para lanzar las otras cartas del mazo.
También se cuenta con varias cartas legendarias poderosas, como Ob Nixilis, the Adversary, Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler, Glissa Sunslayer, y Liliana of the Veil, que brindan un gran control del juego y son difíciles de eliminar.
