Portal to Green | ONE Standard | MTG Arena

Today we are trying to address one complaint I have had with Mono Green which is we have no card draw. We could play bank buster but I choose to play [[Tablet of Compleation]] instead because I feel like it is a bit more on brand for green. [[Tablet of Compleation]] does two things that we want to do which is ramp and draw cards. It might take a little while to get going but we have [[Monumental Facade]] to help speed that process up. Talking about green card draw and ramp, we are also playing [[Courier's Briefcase]] which is great because it creates a chump blocker, ramps, and can be sacrificed in a pinch for 3 cards. So that we can use [[Courier's Briefcase]] we are also playing a bunch of green duel lands. Now what are we doing with all this mana? We plan to play [[Titan of Industry]] as a catch up mechanism and cripple our opponents board with [[Portal to Phyrexia]]. [[Portal to Phyrexia]] will allow us to loop our [[Titan of Industry]] or other creatures to generate even more value. [[Greater Tanuki]] is an example of a fun creature that can help us ramp by discarding it and then we can get it back from our graveyard with [[Portal to Phyrexia]].
