So I cooked up a food deck the other day to see whether they are playable with new LOTR cards. And ended up with this list. So, unlike modern we don't have Asmo/Cookbook, but we do have Jarsyl and Crucias synergizing with Many Partings flashback and Steelseeker surveiling with Crucias treasures. So I gave it a whirl and it definitely seems viable. The Troll King is actually a midrange killer, and with a nut draw you can get it out on turn 3 or 4. Problem is setting up is a hassle when everything dying due to black meta removing everything on spot.
