Tier: 9Wizards Extends Standard Rotation by Another Year
Magic: the Gathering Standard has been stuck with a pretty stale meta for the last few months, and Wizards let us know it will continue because the rotation we assumed would arrive in September is not going to happen this year. The sets that would have otherwise rotated in 2023 (SNC, NEO, VOW, MID) will now be rotating in 2024. This will encourage paper players to feel more secure in purchasing Standard decks (in theory), but it will delay the meaningful shakeups that keep Standard fresh.
