Budget Artifact Birds | ONE Standard | MTG Arena
Today we are trying to beat our opponents with 0 zero rares using budget birds! We are using both [[Swooping Lookout]] and [[Malcator's Watcher]] and we are hoping to buff them with either [[Unctu's Retrofitter]] or [[Michiko's Reign of Truth]]. We also hope to copy them with [[Hulking Metamorph]] to get a 3/3 version of them. We can also copy [[Combat Thresher]] with our [[Hulking Metamorph]] to get a 3/3 doublestriker. To combo with the prototypes we are running [[Touch the Spirit Realm]] so we can remove artifacts and creatures or blink our prototypes to upgrade them. We are using [[Stern Lesson]] to draw, ramp, increase our artifact count with the powerstone and discard our prototypes which we can return with our 2 copies of [[Repair and Recharge]]. [[Hulking Metamorph]] is the ideal target for these blink and reanimate effects because with it and our other creatures we can either have a vigilant 7/7 flyer or a 7/7 double striker. … Today we are trying to beat our opponents with 0 zero rares using budget birds! We are using both [[Swooping Lookout]] and [[Malcator's Watcher]] and we are hoping to buff them with either [[Unctu's Retrofitter]] or [[Michiko's Reign of Truth]]. We also hope to copy them with [[Hulking Metamorph]] to get a 3/3 version of them. We can also copy [[Combat Thresher]] with our [[Hulking Metamorph]] to get a 3/3 doublestriker. To combo with the prototypes we are running [[Touch the Spirit Realm]] so we can remove artifacts and creatures or blink our prototypes to upgrade them. We are using [[Stern Lesson]] to draw, ramp, increase our artifact count with the powerstone and discard our prototypes which we can return with our 2 copies of [[Repair and Recharge]]. [[Hulking Metamorph]] is the ideal target for these blink and reanimate effects because with it and our other creatures we can either have a vigilant 7/7 flyer or a 7/7 double striker. Lastly, [[Unctus's Retrofitter]] also works well with [[Combat Thresher]] to turn it into a 4/4 double striker.

Magic Arena: Explorer Emrakul's Mono White Devotion
Shadows over innistrad remastered is now on MTG Arena. Another brew we tried out for explorer format in the hopes to find a home for Emrakul the promised end. The theory of the deck was to build on the shell on the standard mono white devotion list but expand it to be a yorion blink shell with a nykthos devotion / karn the great creator tutor package. Ran into some fringe decks in Auras and sultai ultimatum which seem like terrible matchups. Would be willing to try this deck out further against the more stock meta decks of explorer. Sharing the gameplay as I think there is benefit win or lose to show how brews perform.

Using anvil synergies, cheap creature & artifact sacrifice effects, we make sure that we can reanimate Atraxa extremely quickly, locking the game and bringing despair to our opponent's hearts.

Extremely cool and surprisingly efficient, fresh deck.

Tyvar's Crawler | ONE Standard | MTG Arena
Today we are self milling with Tyvar to assemble a combo in our graveyard. The backup plan is generate a ton of mana with [[Deathbloom Ritualist]] tapping and untapping with [[Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler]] and casting a massive [[Light Up the Night]] at our opponents face. The combo in the deck uses [[Patchwork Crawler]], [[Deathbloom Ritualist]], and [[Depth Charge Colossus]] to generate infinite mana as the Crawler picks up activated abilities of creatures exiled with it. So [[Deathbloom Ritualist]] allows the Crawler to tap for a bunch of mana and the [[Depth Charge Colossus]] allows it to untap for 3 mana. With combo assembled we have infinite colored mana and with [[Hypnotic Grifter]] we can go through our library to find [[Light Up the Night]] if we don't already have it a available in hand or in our graveyard with [[Dryad's Revival]]. Lastly, we can also just beatdown our opponent with a massive [[Urborg Lhurgoyf]]. [[Jace, the Perfected Mind]] is a fun card that can enable all this by milling our self for a bunch.

The explorer metagame challenge is here on MTG Arena and I cover over a number of the best decks to take to this magic the gathering event. Where possible I have looked towards pioneer ports to account for new shadows over innistrad remastered cards that were introduced this week. The rest of the data is coming from ranked ladder deck stats tracked up to mythic rank along with MTGO data.

Magic Arena: Thing in the Ice IS A TRAP in Explorer
Shadows over innistrad remastered is now on MTG Arena. We don't have all the cards from pioneer izzet phoenix on MTG Arena right now which is typically the spot you find 1-2 thing in the ice. Instead we tried out an izzet tempo / control list using thing in the ice and a lesson package to control opponents board and win through a flipped thing in the ice or hardcast shark typhoon. I would hold off crafting any copies of thing in the ice, card was VERY underwhelming

TOP 1200 MYTHIC | Mono White Control Deck | MTG Arena Ranked Standard Gameplay
Mono White Control is a great deck for Top 1200 Mythic! It has a very affordable mana base so you don't have to spend those wildcards on lands and it has answers to most everything. These THREE games are some of the most interesting and closest games I've played in months and I had a BLAST playing this deck.

Mono White Control surely has to be a contender for one of the best mtg arena mythic decks around right now, even in this aggro heavy meta.

Mono White Control surely has to be a contender for one of the best mtg arena mythic decks around right now, even in this aggro heavy meta.

This deck has JUST enough life gain to keep us going until we can out value aggro decks and potent enough tools including enchantment removal that's able to eliminate powerful threats played by opponents' midrange decks, whether that's Grixis, Jund or Mono Black.

▶️DESCRIPCION DEL DECK

Este es un mazo Golgari Phyrexian, compuesto por criaturas y planeswalkers del reino Phyrexiano. El mazo se centra en la estrategia de sacrificio y control de la junta, tratando de erosionar la vida del oponente y su tablero. La carta clave en este mazo es Phyrexian Obliterator, un Horror Phyrexiano con trample que hace que el controlador de la fuente que hace daño al Obliterator sacrifique esa cantidad de permanentes.

What do Paulo Vitor Damo de Rosa, Brian David-Marshall, Corey Burkhart, and Zvi Mowshowitz all have in common? Aside from all being either Hall of Famers or major players in Magic: the Gathering, they've also come together in the last few years to work on a brand new digital card game called @EmergentsTradingCardGame !

In my second shot at the new Emergents TCG after learning the basics from Corey Burkhart last week, I'll finally be building my own deck! Thankfully I'll have Emergents TCG game designer and Magic: the Gathering hall of fame member Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa along for the ride to help out! Magic Arena: Emrakul Energy Casino MTG Explorer
Shadows over innistrad remastered is now on MTG Arena. We take an emrakul the promised end brew to the mythic explorer ladder. Cheat out emrakul or ugin the spirit dragon into play with aetherworks marvel in a temur energy shell. This is a bit more on the jank side of MTG Arena decks but when it pops off it is fun to cheat into play big spells and take control of opponent's turn.
