Today we test the Jeskai Monument Control deck we put together from Aetherdrift in a standard event. I think I made some misplays in this video that lost me several of the matches. This goes to show how little room for error there is when playing this Jeskai Monument Control deck. In Match 1, at the beginning, I could have Lightning Helixed the Mako before damage because it would be unlikely the opponent would have a relevant response in the deck they were playing. This would have saved me 1 life point which would have gotten me another turn. At 6:11 I should have kept the Mountain and discarded the Meticulous Archive so I would have an untapped land and a treasure to cast a removal spell onto whatever the opponent targeted with the Fear of Missing out trigger on their turn. In Match 2, at 13:26 I likely should not have discarded the Lightning Helix instead of the land since I already had 4 lands so the 5th wasn't super vital and I could easily dig for another with the Artist's Talent. At 17:29 it might have been better to surveil the Artist's Talent into the graveyard to dig for something more impactful like a Monument to Endurance, Ral Crackling Wit, Ill-Timed Explosion, Three Steps Ahead. At 21:35 I make a massive error in discarding the Lightning Helix since it could have bought me another turn by removing a creature and gaining life. In Match 3, at 24:38 I should have surveiled away Ral for more removal. At 26:01 I should have held onto the Three Steps Ahead since I could have used it to counter the Cori-Steel Cutter. Gobllins got even more cards in Aetherdrift with [[Burnbout Bashtronaut]] and [[Howlsquad Heavy]]. Then in Tarkir we got [[Stadium Headliner]] and [[Frontline Rush]]. [[Frontline Rush]] seems like the strongest addition as pretty much strictly better [[Dragon Fodder]]. Making 2 goblins let you flood the board and make use of your lord [[Rundvelt Hordemaster]]. I think the second line on [[Frontline Rush]] is the scariest though because of how it can sneek past blockers and synergize with [[Cacophony Scamp]]. Today are checking out what Tarkir: Dragonstorm has to offer for goblin typal decks in standard. Goblins got quite a few cards from Foundations, [[Fanatical Firebrand]], [[Searslicer Goblin]], and [[Krenko, Mob Boss]]. Today are celebrating [[Craterhoof Behemoth]]'s return to standard by playing mono green elves with hoof. This deck looks to flood the board with creatures, make lots of mana, and then win by smashing face with a big pump from [[Craterhoof Behemoth]]. [[Nature's Rhythm]] is strong add from Tarkir Dragonstorm as it allows us to tutor out [[Craterhoof Behemoth]] when we need it or we can tutor out [[Leaf-Crowned Visionary]] for card draw or [[Elvish Archdruid]] for mana. Today we are going all in on [[Mossborn Hydra]]. This deck can end the game as soon as turn 3 with the right hand, but also has lots of synergies to fight more drawn out games. The deck can win turn 3 with turn 1: [[Llanowar Elves]], turn 2: [[Mossborn Hydra]], turn 3: [[Bristly Bill, Spine Sower]] into land and [[Ordeal of Nylea]] then attack for 28 trampling! In order to make [[Mossborn Hydra]] realize its full power we are playing a lot of protection to give it time to grow. [[Skrelv, Defector Mite]] and [[Bulwark Ox]] we can play before we play [[Mossborn Hydra]] and they can immediately start protecting the Hydra. [[Sheltered by Ghost]] is removal, protection, and lifelink so we can match more aggressive decks. Lastly, [[Dusk Legion Duelist]] gives us another target for all our +1/+1 counters allowing us to draw through our deck. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy the deck!

Today we are going for a classic gameplan with [[Phyrexian Obliterator]] + [[Bushwhack]]. [[Bushwhack]] allows us to fight one of the opponents creatures causing [[Phyrexian Obliterator]] to trigger making the opponent sacrifice a bunch of permanents. [[Phyrexian Obliterator]] is great into mono-red since red's removal is damage based. Obliterator can stonewall red decks and lead to concessions. This deck is also good into red decks since it has a lot of removal. The midrange style of this deck makes it good into many matchups, but can be weak into the domain Beanstalk deck which has less creatures to target with our removal and stronger value engine in [[Up The Beanstalk]].Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy the deck!
