Examples of how we can use this table:
- Column T1 (7 cards) indicates that we have drawn the 7 cards of the initial hand. If I want to know how many copies I need to include in the deck to have at least one 1 cost spell on turn 1 at the desired percentage (84%), 14 is the number.
- If I want to know how many untapped lands I need to include in the deck to guarantee the desired percentage that I will draw at least 1 untapped land on turn 2, the T2 column tells us how many: 12.
- When I want to draw the second copy on the second turn, like drawing the second land of the same color as the first to play a creature of the same double cost, we need to look at the second row and the second column: 21 is the number.
- If I want to have a third land on turn 3 at the desired %, I look at T3 and the third row: 26 is the number.
- If I want to play a 5 cost spell that requires 4 lands of the same color, I look at the T5 column and the fourth row: 28 is the number.
- If I want to play a 4 cost double cost of the same color, I look at column T4 and row 2 to see how many lands of that double cost to include: 17 is the number.
