MTG Arena Standard Ranked best of one has a lot of good decks right now, but it's like for Azorius Control to shine! Today, we're using some of the best white cards and blue cards from the latest MTG sets to build a unique Azorius control deck based around tokens and generating value from turn 2 forward.
This ranked deck is my best version of blue/white control, but feel free to make any tweaks you need. I would say Negate is a must include in the deck due to the high presence of Reanimator and powerful non creature spells in the Aftermath meta game.

When facing aggressive decks, we try to gum up the board state by playing Spirited Companion and Wedding Announcement to build up small chump blockers so we can do what Azorius likes to do and stabilize, wipe the board and begin playing our high value cards.
Protect the Negotiators is one of the best cards in this deck because it can be scaled up to become almost a hard counter when we have enough tokens. If we can keep the opponent's game plan in mind, we can make sure there are enough creatures to counter their big spells, as they often tap out all their mana to play them. Usually 1 or 2 tokens will suffice to stop their gameplay of reanimation or hard casting Etali/Atraxa.
