The annual Banned and Restricted Announcement came down from Wizards of the Coast today and they declared no bans were necessary in the formats they oversee. Instead, Preordain was unbanned in Modern and Mind's Desire was unbanned in Legacy.
So what does this mean for Standard and Pioneer? Is business-as-usual a good thing at this point? HamHocks42 suspects it might be. While cards like Karn, the Great Creator, Nykthos, and Sheoldred are annoying to play against, are they truly problematic to the point where action must be taken?
